Hi all!
I'll bet it's been quite a long time since you've heard from us. For those of you who don't remember who we are, this is Space-Artists: a group of celestial painters and digital artisans dedicated to picking the cream of the crop of those artists out there, creating beautiful artpacks, and collecting and categorizing the best space art that exists on deviantart.

New Year, New Beginnings, NEW ARTPACKS!
This group is far from dead, fear not :)
With the new year here and in full swing, and with 2010 being one of our deadest years since the club's inception, I strongly suggest that we as a group of artists start off this year right with a fantastic artpack :)
The rules remain the same as always, only contributors may submit artwork to the packs. Additionally, be sure to visit the group's frontpage and see the Rules list, as they are a vital part of what we stand for and how we keep the group functioning.

Small note: We will now be accepting artwork submissions to our featured folder. It's about time we took advantage of the new group features.
Please note that any artwork accepted will be of exceptional quality, even by high standards. Don't be discouraged if you submit and your piece is denied. Continue to work and don't ever stop trying :)
Some stuff about the group...
A lot of people are asking to join the group via notes, emails, private messages, etc.
There is a reason we aren't accepting any new members at the moment, and that is primarily due to the lack of effort from the members who were involved before the last pack was released.
Last pack, we had three deadline extensions and tons of people saying, "Yeah, I'll totally be able to submit!". About a week before the pack was due, we received a flood of messages from people saying that their computers had suddenly crashed, their Photoshop files and folders were completely corrupted, and that they wouldn't be able to submit to the pack due to these unf
